This site is updated directly from my mobile phone. Yessir, its a wonderful world we live in.
I use a NTT Docomo FOMA SH901is. It's a very nice phone that I bought recently. The camera and pictures are the best yet and the screen is magnificent. I'm not to fond of the squareness of the phone though. If I wasn't so fond of imode I would have probably gone for this phone instead.

Pause
Today’s postings are being written in the very stylish surroundings of the Pause cafe, in the mean streets (well, 10-15 years ago) of Ikebukuro (my hood). Having opened just over a year ago, it acts as a true oasis in this definitely unhip section of the city, serving up a cool atmosphere, with truly unpretentious staff — I get greeted by name everytime I come in. The cafe also acts as the offices for Roughtoyz (and soon Laughtoys), with some of their vinyl creations on permanent display in a section wall that seperates the open office area from the rest of the space. It’s a definite highlight in my Ikebukuro life.
And if you happen by Ikebukuro on your next visit to the city, take a look at my previous ramen shop guide to the area.

Cafe Add+Ress
The appearance of a stylish new cafe in Ikebukuro is definitely something to write about, as my ‘hood isn’t really known for that sort of thing – exception made for my beloved Cafe Pause of course (full disclosure: I not only manage the gallery space there, but I also produce various events, including last night’s inaugural PauseTalk). So I was quite excited when some recent renovations on Parco’s 6th floor – Parco being a big youth-oriented shopping center inside the station – not only saw expanded Graniph and Smith (stationery) stores, but also the addition of Cafe Add+Ress. The interior is quite attractive, with comfortable seating, and it includes five net-ready iMac’s for couple surfing (at least that’s what the two chairs in front of every Mac suggested). The food and drink menu is quite extensive (with nice lunch plates), and I’ll vouch for the strawberry cheesecake parfait – it’s to die for.
