​Could this be the future of local retail

This emerging trend in the United States has the potential to be quite huge here in Australia. The idea of a low cost factory made flat pack store with local material and aesthetic content infused to help create regional brand loyalty is really interesting.

Adding  LEED credentials is also a clever and progressive idea for the corporation starts to hit multiple areas of psychological touch points that will make it hard for customers to ignore.

> A aesthetically pleasing brand experience
> Low cost build, install and fast placement
> Minimal impact for running costs via a LEED initiative

I wonder where Starbucks “Third Place” ethos fits in to this, maybe this is a smart progression to the in store customer experience.
